Matthew is a classical guitarist and teacher in Columbus, Ohio. He has earned a Bachelor’s in Music from The University of Rio Grande, and a Master’s in Education from Concordia University. Matthew currently teaches at Southwest Licking Local Schools and has been teaching and performing around Columbus, Ohio, and the entire East Coast for 14 years.
Most recently, Matthew has performed at the Short North Stage (American Idiot), The Abbey Theater, The Riffe Center, and The Maltz. He has also been a guest performer with The Worthington Chamber Orchestra, OYO Dance Company, and Columbus Musicians LLC. Matthew has also been filmed as a Wedding Musician for the most recent season of the Netflix Series “Love is Blind.”
Matthew released his first solo album in December of 2024. The album features 13 arrangements of Christmas Carols titled "Christmas Carols for Classical Guitar."
